WHICH WAY IS YOUR SOUL TRYING TO EXPRESS ITSELF?
Hey, my name is Stephen Bones, and I work with shamanic energies.
Tonight, I felt an urge to pull a card.
I didn’t really know why…
But when I turned it over, I got Whale.
And as soon as I saw it, I thought…
Wow. This is interesting.
Because the whale is connected with our soul’s path — what we’re here to experience, and perhaps even what we’re here to express.
And one of the things the whale represents is sound.
Singing.
Humming.
Chanting.
Simply expressing yourself through sound — not necessarily because you’re trying to achieve anything, but simply because it brings you joy.
And here’s the interesting part for me…
For the last four or five days, whenever I’ve been drumming, I’ve had this really strong urge to chant, hum and sing.
It’s just been coming through naturally.
So when I pulled this card tonight, it immediately caught my attention.
And I wondered…be for you as well?
If you’ve found this video — perhaps by chance, perhaps because something drew you to it — just stay with me for a few minutes.
Because maybe there’s something here for you.
The whale is inviting us into creativity.
Not necessarily creativity in the traditional sense.
It could be music.
It could be painting.
It could be writing.
Poetry.
Dancing.
Drumming.
Or perhaps there’s something completely different that you’ve always wanted to express.
Something that’s been sitting quietly inside you.
And perhaps you’ve been so caught up in everyday life that you haven’t given yourself the space to find out what that is.
For me, my creativity comes through drumming, journeying and following my spiritual path.
But yours could be something entirely different.
And I think that’s the important part of this message.
Don’t compare your expression with somebody else’s.
Allow whatever is inside you to emerge.
Because perhaps we’re entering a time of spiritual expansion.
And sometimes that expansion doesn’t come through thinking.
It comes when we become quiet enough to actually feel.
That’s why meditation can be so powerful.
You don’t necessarily have to sit for an hour.
Just find a few quiet minutes.
Put everything down.
Stop trying to work everything out.
And simply sit.
Feel your body.
Notice your breathing.
And ask yourself:
“If I didn’t have all the distractions of everyday life… what would I really love to do?”
Not what you should do.
Not what makes you money.
Not what other people expect from you.
But…
What would genuinely excite me?
What would I love to explore?
How would I express myself if I gave myself permission to do it?
Because sometimes, underneath all the noise of everyday life, there’s another voice quietly trying to get our attention.
And perhaps that’s what the whale is reminding us of.
